Guwahati, January 22, 2019: Maxxis India, a sub-company of Maxxis Group, one of the world’s fastest growing tyre companies conducted its dealers’ meet in Guwahati. The meet was attended by 68 dealers from across Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Manipur. The dealers were briefed on Maxxis’s world-class tyre range designed for diverse Indian applications and industry-best warranty policy and transparent claim resolution process.

 

Commenting on the event, Mr. Bing-Lin Wu, Retail Sales Head, Maxxis India, said, “Maxxis Tyres has completed almost an year of manufacturing in India successfully. We have created a robust infrastructure of 1500+ dealers to meet the growing demand of Maxxis tyres in India. We are committed to strengthening our network of dealers across India. North East is an important market from a business standpoint and hence, we already have 57 dealers in the North East Region with 35 dealer partners in Assam alone.

The dealers, led by Mr. Yogesh & Nitesh Goyal of SAR Auto, Maxxis’s distributor for North East region were briefed on the latest products and solutions offered by Maxxis, including the industry-best 5+1 unconditional warranty with Maxxis 2-wheeler tyres. This unconditional warranty is a no-questions-asked offer that applies to all unserviceable and unrepairable tyres. During the meet, dealers were also apprised of various dealer incentive programs and schemes. 

Mr. Yogesh and Nitesh SAR Auto said, “Maxxis Tyres’ growth trajectory in India is quite noteworthy and we want to capitalise on this growing opportunity. The product quality and positive customer feedback of Maxxis Tyres have undoubtedly helped us grow in the regions we already have a presence in.  We currently have a total of 57 dealer across North East India and are targeting to on-board 30 more dealer partners within this year.

Maxxis India inaugurated their first manufacturing facility in Sanand Gujarat in March 2018 and are targeting to capture a market share of at least 15% of India’s two-wheeler tyre market within 5 years. India market is touted to play a vital role in achieving Maxxis’s global vision to become one of the top 5 tyre manufactures in the world by 2026. The company has plans to set up 5 more plants in India which will also cater to the 4-wheeler tyre market.
